Roasted Garlic/Parmesan Asparagus

1 bunch asparagus Pam garlic 1/4 cup parmesan cheese -- shredded
Preheat oven to 400-deg. F
Take large cookie sheet or half-sheet pan & spray liberally with PAM or olive oil flavored cooking spray.
Clean asparagus by rinsing under water, then snapping off lower stem: that is, bend till it breaks naturally. Line up asparagus stems on cookie sheet/baking tray till entire bunch is done. Spray asparagus again with either olive-oil or garlic flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle on garlic powder or crushed garlic.
Slide baking tray into hot oven & roast for about 15 minutes (20 minutes if you like well cooked veggies). After 15 minutes, pull out & sprinkle on parmesan cheese, then slide back in for 2-3 mins. to let the cheese melt a bit.
Serve hot on plate. Hollandaise sauce or lemon juice optional.
