1 clove garlic, crushed 1 small onion, minced fine 1/4 cup butter beans, or oil (I used coconut oil) 3 tablespoons splenda, (3-4) 2 teaspoons dark molasses 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 1/2 cups water 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon horseradish 1 tablespoon liquid smoke 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
In a saucepan, cook the onion and garlic in the butter or oil for a few minutes. Stir in all the dry ingredients, then stir in everything else but the tomato paste and the liquid smoke. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Then whisk in the tomato paste and the liquid smoke flavoring, and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
