Irene's 7 Layer Salad

1/2 head iceberg lettuce 2 tomatoes 2 scallions 1/2 cup Sugar snap peas 8 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 pound bacon -- crumbled
Wash and pat lettuce leaves. Tear with hands into smaller pieces and place in bottom of a casserole dish until approximately 1" thick.
Remove seeds from tomatoes and dice into small pieces. Add layer of tomatoes over lettuce layer.
Chop scallions and add for third layer.
Peas go next for fourth layer.
Spread mayo over top of the layers until even. Add more or less as desired.
Top with shredded cheddar and then crumbled bacon.
